Description:
Microsoft introduced state-based monitoring in SCOM 2007, but it’s now available in Azure. Learn about Health Models in Azure Monitor, which let you monitor cloud applications and workloads intelligently and efficiently, focusing on health instead of tracking unrelated alerts for minor issues.

What you will learn:
  • Build a model of your workload, including its components and their relationships.
  • Measure the overall health of each component and the application as a whole.
  • Track the availability of your application or workload over time.
  • Reduce your alert count by firing only on health state changes.
